Hi Pyrene Explorer families!
We are so happy… this is quickly approaching. After the online meeting we held last Thursday 22nd of June, thanks to some of your questions, we expand and specify here some details and valuable information:
TIME AND MEETING POINT in BARCELONA – SUNDAY 02 JUL
We will have a first meeting point in Terminal 1 of Barcelona airport – Arrivals (the Square) – at 12:30pm
We will have a second meeting point at the Arc de Triomf in Barcelona – at 1:45pm – https://goo.gl/maps/
TIME AND PICK-UP POINT – FRIDAY 14 JUL
We will arrive in Barcelona at noon, have a farewell lunch and swim on the beach. Then we will go to Barcelona airport to accompany those who have to fly back home.
Pick up will be at 4pm at San Sebastià Beach – at the Sports Park

The footwear we ask you to wear is:
- 1 shoes with mountain sole – click here to see an example
- 1 hiking boots – click here to see an example
We will definitely use the mountain boots on the last day to climb Aneto with crampons.
We can leave our hiking boots at the Pyrene base camp and Pyrene will send them to the Renclusa Refuge, the have them to climb the Aneto peak.
And if you like to walk in boots, you can wear them during the entire expedition.
